There’s a saying that ‘done is better than perfect.’ This concept has always been a tough one for me to grasp, as I like to make sure everything is *just right* before considering it final. It’s one of the reasons it has taken me so long to relaunch Moonlight + Sage since moving to the Pacific Northwest two years ago.

I love the holiday season and usually get a jump on shopping really early on. Each year by this time, my tree is up, holiday cards are in the mail and gifts have been purchased. This year... not so much. It’s mid-December and I don’t have a tree, I just ordered my cards, and I haven’t even started the bulk of my shopping.
